Exporting allows you to create a snapshot of your plan at a specific point in time. These files do not update if the plan changes, which makes them ideal for sharing with stakeholders, archiving project history, or attaching to formal documentation.
Available Export Formats
Whiteboard Image
Create a high resolution PNG file of the Whiteboard for printing and sharing.Gantt PDF
You can generate a PDF of the Gantt chart. The information shown in the PDF will exactly match what is displayed on your screen at the time of export.
When you select this option, a dialog appears where you can customize the output. You can specify:
Page size and orientation – choose the paper format and whether the PDF is portrait or landscape.
Expand all groups – optionally expand all groups in the chart so all tasks are visible.
Date range – limit the PDF to a specific time period.
Company logo, title, and notes – add branding and context to the exported chart.
Excel
Export the plan data into a spreadsheet format for further analysis or reporting in Excel.MS Project XML
Create an XML file that can be imported directly into Microsoft Project.Primavera P6 XML
Create an XML file that can be imported directly into Primavera P6.
Static vs. Dynamic
Static exports are great for one-time communication or record keeping.
If you want to provide stakeholders with information that is always up to date, you can share dynamic reports instead.
