General

The General tab in Plan Settings contains the basic information about your Plan. From here you can update the Plan’s identity, define when work begins, and set shared holidays that apply to all resources.

Name

Update the Plan name at any time. This name appears in your Plan list and is used to identify exported files.


Plan Start Date

Choose the start date for scheduling.  Tasks that have work still to be performed will be scheduled on or after this start date.  This applies to all projects within the plan.


Description

Add a description to capture important notes or context about the Plan.  If you are saving a snapshot of a plan or a certain scheduling scenario, enter this detail here for your records.


Shared Holidays

Click Edit to add holidays that apply to the entire Plan.

These are called shared holidays because they are shared by all resources in the schedule. On these days, no work will be performed.
