April 2026

Summary

This month’s work focused on expanding GamePlan’s capabilities beyond the core application, along with continued platform improvements behind the scenes.

We launched a new self-serve risk analysis service for Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 schedules, allowing users to generate structured Risk Reports in minutes. This work also significantly advances our Project and P6 import capabilities and enhances the Project Intelligence engine, laying the groundwork for bringing these capabilities directly into GamePlan in future releases.

Self-Serve Risk Analysis for Project and P6

We introduced a new self-serve service that allows users to upload Microsoft Project (.mpp) and Primavera P6 (.xer) schedules and receive a structured Risk Report in minutes.

The report highlights key structural risks in the schedule, including an executive summary, overall risk assessment, and prioritized risks with clear mitigation strategies tied directly to the project data.

This makes it easy to identify issues that can impact timelines and cost, without requiring manual analysis or consulting support.

The service is available at project-risk.com and schedule-risk.com. It is free for GamePlan users. Contact us for your access code.

Improved Project and P6 Import Capabilities

We made significant progress in how GamePlan reads and interprets Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 schedules.

This includes expanded support for more complex scheduling scenarios and improved accuracy when importing real-world schedules.

These enhancements are an important step toward full-fidelity imports, enabling schedules to be brought into GamePlan with consistently matching scheduling results.

Enhanced Project Intelligence

We continued to enhance the Project Intelligence engine, expanding the range of structural risks it can identify and improving the clarity and usefulness of mitigation recommendations.

This results in more actionable insights and better alignment between identified risks and real-world scheduling challenges.

Additional Improvements

In addition to the major updates above, this release includes a number of smaller enhancements, usability improvements, and bug fixes to improve overall stability and day-to-day workflow.
